- Chairman - Dr. Peter Fuhr
Chief Technology Officer at Apprion, Inc. He has over 500 publications and presentations within the realm of sensing systems and wireless network connectivity. He has embedded sensors into various structures worldwide ranging from buildings, dams, airplanes, hot air balloon, spacecraft, nuclear power plant containment vessels, even humans. His pioneering work in networked sensor systems for structures earned him the Presidential Award for Excellence in Research.
- President - Steve Toteda
Toteda also serves as Vice President of Marketing at Dust Networks. Prior to Dust Networks, he served as group manager for the IP Communications Terminals product group at Cisco Systems, where he focused on delivering enabling technology and IP telephony products to the market... Prior roles included senior engineering and product management with LSI Logic, Cirrus Logic and Harmonic Lightwaves... Steve holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in engineering from Lehigh University, and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
- Vice President - Dave Kaufman
David Kaufman is a Director of Business Development for the Honeywell Process Solutions business with over 25 years of experience in industrial automation. He has a B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering from Iowa State University, an MBA from St. Joseph’s University in Pennsylvania, and a Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Honeywell. He is currently an Executive Committee Member for the HART Communications Foundation, Vice President of the Wireless Industrial Network Alliance (WINA) and a Board Member of the ISA Wireless Compliance Institute (WCI).
- Treasurer - Hesh Kagan
In addition to his role as Treasurer, Hesh Kagan serves as Invensys Process Systems Director of Technology for New Business Development. Hesh has worked in the automation and controls industry for over 25 years. He's headed Foxboro's systems engineering group for a number of years and was part of the original team that developed the Foxboro I/A Series process control system, the worlds first distributed control system based on Ethernet, Unix and open standards. Mr. Kagan leads the effort to coordinate development and technology of new technologies and business opportunities across Invensys. Mr. Kagan is currently coordinating the wireless strategy and product development for the Invensys group. He is a founding member and past president of WINA. Mr. Kagan has numerous articles and publications in the automation field and is a frequent panelist at industry gatherings.
- Kim Dunn - Automation Federation Chair
Kim comes to the WINA Board as a representative of ISA – Founding organization of the Automation Federation. Currently Kim is the Past President of ISA and the Chair of the Automation Federation. A resident of Rancho Santa Margarita, California, Kim is currently Director of Sales Development & Support for Emerson Process Management, Rosemount Analytical Liquid Division.
